You can run the rapids of Eau Claire River right next door to Long Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn of Antigo is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Lakes are great; Black Oak Lake is a lake that's next to Long Lake, and if you need a location to stay Antigo Super 8 Motel is a splendid choice. Long Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Nordic       Hills Campground is a great local campground, and on a brilliant day you can stop by Bogus Swamp, a swamp near Long Lake. There's so much to do here at Long Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Antigo Lake RV Park is a nice site for that. Summertime at Long Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here                  at Long Lake.
