Do stop by Long Lake while you're in this part of Wisconsin. Having a great time at Long Lake is painless. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Norway Mountain is near Long Lake; if you're here, you could also stop by lovely Montgomery Lake. Long Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June; February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites IRON MOUNTAIN is a splendid place to get some rest, and Eagle Mountain Golf Course is a great golf course nearby. During the summer highs here at Long Lake get into the 70's. All through
the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Long Lake fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful.
During your spree to Long Lake you'll meet some folks from Iron Mountain for sure; you can run the rapids of Brule River.
