Long Lake is a site with many visitors from Menomonie; Lower Dunnville Bottoms is an attention-grabbing spot to go to while at Long Lake. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Menomonie is a nice place to spend a night or two; a tour to close by Browning Lake is very relaxing. Red Cedar River is close to Long Lake and is always a diversion to pop by, and if you came for an overnight stay Edgewater       Acres Campground is a great spot to camp. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Long Lake has to offer. Menomonie Campground is a great local campground, and if you're here, you could also stop by beautiful Big Lake. Long Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Summer at Long Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night                  lows are frequently in the 50's.
