All through the months of summer at Long Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Long Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Long Lake is excellent!. Whitewater paddling is great on Black River, and       camping is available at Amnicon Acres Campground. While you're here at Long Lake, you could also pop by stunning Deer Lake, and getting to Cranberry Creek from Long Lake is painless. The yearly rainfall here at Long Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Northland Camping and RV Park while you're here at Long Lake, and Superior                  Super 8 Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest.
