All the outdoors cool stuff right next door to Long Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Do check out Lake Columbia close to Long Lake, it's a picturesque lake; Devils Head has great slopes and a friendly staff. Long Lake gets a typical amount of rain; all through August this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.       On a tremendous day at Long Lake you can take a hike along the East Bluff Woods Trail, and Comfort Suites Portage is a pleasant place to get some rest. You'll come across a stunning lake called Long Lake near Long Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Cascade Mountain. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Long Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 20's with winter                  lows in the 0's overnight here at Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Long Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Pride Of America Lake George is a good location to camp nearby, and if you need a site to stay Super 8 Portage is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Time spent at Silver Lake Beach in close proximity to Long Lake is always brilliant, and a round of golf at nearby THAL Acres Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. Near Long Lake you locate the East Bluff Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
