Many people like to go to Long Lake. From a rainfall point of view Long Lake is a rather typical location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Long Lake has to offer, you can camp at Northshore Bar and Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Hickory Ridge Trail.

| | leave Long Lake without first going for a hike along the Deer Fly Trail, and the vista of Pikes Peak is picturesque. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Duncan Creek offers some great whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Glen Loch Motel. Going for a hike on the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and if you get bored of Long Lake you could also check out nearby Ace-In-The-Hole Lake.

stay Park Inn Chippewa Falls is a great choice. Long Lake is a good location to camp, Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a good location, and float down the rapids of Chippewa River in a kayak.

throughout the days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Long Lake temperatures dip to the-10's.
