That right there is loads of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Gogebic Range has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Lake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Ashland Super 8 Motel. It's always great to take a look at Morgan Falls, and lakes are such serene spots, why not stop by Indian Lake. Be careful coming to the Gogebic Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. A glorious place to camp       here at Long Lake is Chippewa River Campground; Saint Peters Dome is a peak you can make out from Long Lake. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Long Lake reach the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 10's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Long Lake dip into the-10's. Long Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; of all the months                  in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is a great local destination here at Long Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Marengo River. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Lake; North Country Trail is a great local trail, and camping at Day Lake Campground is always a good experience. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet it would be.
