This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Kimball Creek Trail is brilliant fun, and Big Stone Golf & Country Club is a golf course nearby. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lone Stone Lake. Going for a hike along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lone Stone Lake has to offer, you       can camp at Sevenmile Lake Campground. Lone Stone Lake is right by the Anvil Lake Trail System. There's so much to do here at Lone Stone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Laurel Lake Campground is a fine spot for that. A great close by hotel is Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River, and hey, Fourmile Creek is a great local stream. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lone Stone Lake is close to the national average; all through the month of August                  you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. If you need a spot to stay Wild Eagle Lodge is a good choice; lakes are such calm locations, why not stop at Fourmile Lake. A wonderful lake like Seven Mile Lake 14 in the neighborhood of Lone Stone Lake is a nice place to visit. At Lone Stone Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
