Go for a hike on the Lauterman Trail, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a wonderful choice. Through the months of summer at Logger Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Logger Lake. Camping       at Big Joe Campground is always a pleasant experience; a brilliant close by hotel is Americinn - Iron River, Mi. From a rainfall point of view Logger Lake is a quite common location; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month is February. Logger Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Laura-Gordon Lakes Campground is a delightful local campground, and the snow is tremendous at Brule Mountain. Get dripping wet paddling                  on Peshtigo River, and good hiking is available along the Eds Lake Trail System. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Logger Lake has it all.
