    Little Wapoose Lake is a lake worth visiting. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites; Wapoose Lake is a magnificent lake close by. The amount of rainfall that falls at Little Wapoose Lake is close to the national average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Wapoose Lake has to offer, you can camp at Florence County  
   Park Campground; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Lauterman Trail.
Near Little Wapoose Lake you stumble on the Kimball Creek Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Brule Mountain. Through the warm months here at Little Wapoose Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally
 
               in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Little Wapoose Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Brule River, and the Dendro Eco Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by.
The snow is perfect at Ski Brule, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Pine River. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Little Wapoose Lake has it all. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Stevens Lake next to Little Wapoose Lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Lilypad Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay.
This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a great place to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Stevens Lake Campground.

Whoohoo! My local ski hill on the internet, WOW! What can I say, Brule's got straight runs and wiggly runs, hard ones and easy ones, but they're all lots of fun. I've been here more times than I can remember and I keep coming back for more and more, year after year....
