This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a magnificent site to get some rest; skiing at Ski Brule is one of those things you just must do. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Little Wapoose Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Brule Mountain since you're here; let's not forget Lilypad Creek which       is a stream that you may come across while you're here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Little Wapoose Lake has to offer, you can camp at Stevens Lake Campground, and you can run the rapids of Pine River. While you're here at Little Wapoose Lake you can take a hike along the Lauterman Trail, and Little Wapoose Lake is not the only place close by, Stevens Lake is a close by lake. A great place for whitewater paddling close to Little Wapoose                  Lake is Brule River, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites. Little Wapoose Lake is a good site of common rain; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Little Wapoose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Florence County Park Campground is a great site for that, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Dendro Eco Trail. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Little Wapoose Lake reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
