If you need a spot to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a perfect choice, and the skiing at Ski Brule is good. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Little Van Zile Lake has to offer, you can camp at Florence County Park Campground, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Dendro Eco Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go       whitewater paddling on Popple River, and there are other locations here than Little Van Zile Lake, for example Van Zile Lake. Stay the night at Big Joe Campground, and going for a hike on the Lauterman Trail is always a good adventure. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Little Van Zile Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites, and there are great sites to look at along the Eds Lake Trail System. For the duration of the months                  of summer here at Little Van Zile Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, usually in the 50's.
