If you come at the right time of year, Black River - East Fork offers some wonderful whitewater; after a long day outdoors Three Bears Lodge and Villas is a good location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Whitetail Flowage 12. There's so much to do here at Little Thunder Flowage that you need to camp here for a while, Wazee County Park is a great spot for that. Hiking along the Silver Mound Trail is splendid fun.
