Duck Lake is a great lake close to Little Sand Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wolf River, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a great choice. Little Sand Lake is a good site of normal rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most;       February is when it's the driest. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Why not camp at Joy Harbor Campground since you're here at Little Sand Lake; Days Inn of Antigo is a splendid spot to get some rest. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Little Sand Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Little Sand Lake are in the-10's. Lakes? Sure, Skunk Lake                  is nearby, and going for a hike on the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail is always a perfect adventure.
