Do go to Wabikon Lake near Little Popple Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and some of the water close by flows, like Indian River. This lake is so wonderful. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Little Popple Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the
driest month of the year is February. High temperatures at Little Popple Lake through the months of summer are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows all through the wintertime
for Little Popple Lake tend to be in the-10's. If you come at the right time of year, Wolf River offers some great whitewater, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Dendro Eco Trail.
