This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Little Pine Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Little Pine Lake. So much entertaining stuff to do at Little Pine Lake, so little time. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Christie Mountain, of course       you could also have a look at Atwood Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Good hiking is available along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail; after a long day outdoors Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. If you came for an overnight stay Loon Lake Camp Grounds is a pleasant location to camp; Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd is a delightful campground here. Paddling on Duncan Creek is so much fun; there's magnificent                  hiking along the Hickory Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Pine Lake; Deer Fly Trail is a nice local trail; Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a splendid place to get some rest. From a rain point of view Little Pine Lake is a quite common place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
