A visit to Little Lake is always a good idea. Good hiking is available along the Grottos Trail, and camping at Little Lake is nice fun, Lake Mason Campground is a nice local campground. All through the summertime months at Little Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows through the winter for Little Lake tend to be in the 0's.

| | Get soaked paddling on Baraboo River, and since you're here, you could also stop by wonderful Mason Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Little Lake; most of the rain falls all through August, and the driest of the months is February. Going for a hike on the East Bluff Woods Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and some of the water close by flows, like South Branch Neenah Creek.

to stay Portage Super 8 Motel is a good choice. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are in fact bountiful here at Little Lake. Gotta ski! Cascade Mountain is a perfect place to do that, and Morris Cove is not far at all. What would
winter be without some skiing at Devils Head, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Resort Hotel & Conference Center.
This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Skillet Creek in a kayak; why not camp at Wagon wheel Campground if you're here at Little Lake.
