Go for a hike on the Markville Snowmobile Trail, and Saint Croix National Scenic River is a great local destination. Little Dunham Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Nearby lakes? This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Wild Mountain are so inviting noone can resist.
Summertime highs at Little Dunham Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's; the night is fairly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The winter
comes with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Little Dunham Lake tend to be in the-10's. Drift down the rapids of St. Croix River in a kayak; going for a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is always a splendid adventure.
