What a site this is for outdoors people. If you came for an overnight stay Lac Vieux Desert Campground is a great spot to camp, and you can run the rapids of Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. Camping is available at Borderline RV Park and Campground. There are other locations here than Little       Donahue Lake, for example Lawler Lake, and the Anvil Lake Trail System is a tremendous hiking trail close by. If you need a site to stay Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a brilliant choice; a pleasant site for whitewater paddling is Ontonagon River. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Wild Eagle Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail. Summer at Little Donahue                  Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while Little Donahue Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's.
