Little Clam Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Little Clam Lake, you can go for a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail. There's so much to do here at Little Clam Lake that you need to camp here for a while,       Black Lake Campground is a tremendous spot for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Gogebic Range. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Little Clam Lake called the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail, and you'll discover a stunning lake called Upper Clam Lake. Summertime at Little Clam Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes                  with highs in the 20's while Little Clam Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. A lovely lake like Cranberry Lake near Little Clam Lake is a glorious place to take a look at; not far from Little Clam Lake you get some good water scenery at Day Dam. So much entertaining stuff in close proximity to Little Clam Lake, completely mind-blowing. On a good day at Little Clam Lake you can take a hike along the Black Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Marengo River. So many entertaining things in the Gogebic Range, just impressive. Stay the night at Day Lake Campground. Little Clam Lake is a beautiful lake in the Gogebic Range.
