Brule while you're here, and if you came for an overnight stay Perch Lake Campground is a pleasant place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Lauterman Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a nice choice.

The highlight of Paint River Hills Campground is its hiking trail along the Paint River. The loop trail, about half-mile long, winds through and around the rock bluffs and hills that form the banks of the Paint River and for years has been the playground of local youngsters. The name “Paint River Hills” is the term used by locals to describe the location of the campground. Youngsters have named other areas such as Peeper Hollow, Big Rock Candy Mountain, White Pine Lookout, Fairy Tale Swamp, Rock Fort, Thistle Swamp and Camel Back Lookout.
