People from Eau Claire love to come to Little Bass Lake, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. Loon Lake Camp Grounds is a fine campground here, and going for a hike on the Hickory Ridge Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Little Bass Lake is       Chippewa River; there are great sites to explore along the Deer Fly Trail. At Little Bass Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Little Bass Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. Any time is a splendid time at Little Bass Lake if you like the outdoors. Not far from Little                  Bass Lake, you'll hit upon Axhandle Lake which is a beautiful lake, and the skiing at Christie Mountain is good. Stay the night at Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd; Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a pleasant location to get some rest. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Duncan Creek; if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful.
