If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Gogebic Range. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest Ridges Golf Course is close at hand; going for a hike along the North Country Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. If       only every spot had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. Boulder Lodge Resort is a nice local campground, and a spree to Janes Bay is always a wonderful idea. Little Bass Lake is a good site of normal rain; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Little Bass Lake you can take a hike along the Rock Lake National                  Recreation Trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on Marengo River. All through the months of summer at Little Bass Lake temperatures are typically in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Little Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Garden Lake, and not far from Little Bass Lake you'll hit upon Taylor Lake which is a beautiful lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Gogebic Range. Little Bass Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Chippewa River Campground is a nice location to camp nearby; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Lake Superior Lodge. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the Gogebic Range.
