Lakes are such serene spots, why not stop by Taylor Lake in close proximity to Little Bass Lake, and the North Country Trail is a great hiking trail close by. An average amount of precipitation falls at Little Bass Lake; the month with most of the rain is September, and February is when it's the                  driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the tremendous whitewater of Marengo River, and close by you come across the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
