Sure, Carson Pond is close by; you can go for a hike on the Virgin Pine Trail. Don't leave Lemon Lake without first going for a hike along the North Country Trail, and Lemon Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Crosswoods is a good local campground. Heart Lake is a pleasant lake in the vicinity of Lemon Lake, and a good site to camp here at Lemon Lake is Perch Lake       Campground. At Lemon Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Lemon Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Pigeon Lake Trail is always a great adventure; there's some flowing water close by, East Fork White River is a stream you can                  take a look at while here.
