Legend Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Fawn Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground; after a long day outdoors Kiryat Hotel is a nice place to spend a night or two. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. A lake close by is Legend Lake Number 235 2. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Legend Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.

| | The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Legend Lake. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Legend Lake; throughout September this area sees the most rain while January is usually the driest month.
There's so much to do here at Legend Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shawano County Park is a glorious site for that; while you're here you can take a hike along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. | |

Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Wolf River, and if you need a location to stay Settle Inn and Suites Shawano is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Shawano Lake Golf Club, and Legend Lake is not the only place close by, Pywaosit Lake is a close by lake.

I went rafting there two days ago and I had SO much fun! One rapid, called lower Dells, has cliffs on both sides and we jumped of them. If you jump make sure to jump far out (I hit my knee on a rock) and face toward the light green trees when you are jumping from the right side (when you are facing the rapids) Also, it is fun to swim Dave's Wave which is the second half of the lower Duck's Nest. Make sure to go down Big Smokey! And then pull your raft to the side of the river and go under the waterfall!! So much fun! The only bad thing was the water level was low... so we got pretty scraped up on the rocks.... |

Boulder Lake Lodge

Boulder Lake Lodge Resort is 80 acres located in the Nicolet National Forest on spring fed Boulder Lake. The national forest forms the property line to the north and Boulder Lake is the property line on the south. We have every outdoor sport you can think of from motorized water sports to snowmobiling. There is fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and hunting in the adjecent national forest. At the end of the days activity or just for a mid-afternoon drink, you can stop by for a cold one and some good conversation at the Lodge. The Lodge is a central gathering point with a full liquor licence. Our RV sites are being upgraded all the time. We installed a new dump station in 2005. There are 20 sites with electric only.
