Leech Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Skiing at Christmas Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and the peaks of the North Range dominate the scenery of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. There are great spots to discover along the Bluff Trail, and charming scenery and perfect skiing is what you obtain at Devils Head. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the summer months, highs generally are in the 80's at Leech Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. Fox Hill Campgrounds is a good local campground, and a scenic
lake like Johnson Ponds is a glorious place to go to. From a precipitation point of view Leech Lake is a quite typical location; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Whohoo,

Don't leave Leech Lake without first going for a hike along the West Bluff Trail, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Baraboo River. Leech Lake is a perfect
location to visit for more than one day, Mirror Lake State Park is a perfect location to camp nearby, and lots of people from Baraboo come here.
