Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River, and great hiking is available along the Serley Camp Trail. Lea Flowage is a good spot of typical precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm sites, why not visit Park Lake near Lea Flowage, and Christie Mountain is a fine local ski area. Summertime highs at Lea Flowage frequently tend

All through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 10's while Lea Flowage nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. A splendid nearby hotel is Americinn Lodge Ladysmith; don't leave Lea Flowage without first going for a hike along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail. Lanes; Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi is a good location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. This place, Lea Flowage, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Lea Lake 13 is a good lake in the vicinity of Lea Flowage,
and if you come at the right time of year, Flambeau River offers some fine whitewater. Lea Flowage is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Thornapple River Campground is a good spot to camp nearby; Little Thornapple River G129.3 Dam has nice water scenery.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas. The restoration is slated for completion in 2011. ... |
