Lawrence Dam is scenic and it's near Lawrence Lake, and Lawrence Lake 29 is a fine lake nearby. Nordic Mountain is a delightful local ski area, and a magnificent close by hotel is Sandman Motel. Lawrence Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Why not camp at Trails End Campgrounds while       you're here at Lawrence Lake; obviously Lawrence Creek flows through this area. What a place this is for outdoors people. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Christmas Mountain. High temperatures at Lawrence Lake during the warm months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 20's; overnight lows at Lawrence Lake all through the wintertime generally drop into the 0's.                  This lake is so wonderful.
