There is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Lawler Lake called the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail, and Lawler Lake is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Borderline RV Park and Campground is a perfect location to camp nearby. After a long day outdoors Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a wonderful place       to spend a night or two, and you're in all probability keen on lakes, Little Donahue Lake is one of those nearby. What a location this is for outdoors people. Wild Eagle Lodge is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Randall Zaccanti. This lake is so wonderful. A great place for whitewater paddling near Lawler Lake is Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. Lakes are wonderful; Denton Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Lawler                  Lake. Ontonagon River is a great whitewater spot in close proximity to Lawler Lake. During the months of summer highs here at Lawler Lake get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's.
