After a long day outdoors Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and perfect hiking is available along the Dendro Eco Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake Laura is close to the national average; during September this area sees       the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. For the period of the summer at Lake Laura highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Laura temperatures fall to the-10's. If you come at the right time of year, Peshtigo River offers some                  pleasant whitewater, and Lake Gordon is a delightful lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Popple River, and a pretty lake like Lost Lake is a delightful place to pop by.
