What a nice lake Lake Wissota is. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at Christie Mountain. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Lake Wissota is excellent! Park Inn Chippewa Falls is a brilliant place to get some rest, and while you're here you can take a hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. It's a tremendous idea to pop by Paint Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Lake Wissota, and a golf course close by is Timber Terrace Golf Course.

| | This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Duncan Creek offers some good whitewater, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail. Throughout the months of summer at Lake Wissota temperatures are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Lake is in close proximity to Lake Wissota, and if you need a location to stay Glen Loch Motel is a pleasant choice. If you came to camp Lake Wissota State Park is a great site to do that, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure
along the Hay Meadow Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Eau Claire River, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Eau Claire for sure.
Not far from Lake Wissota
you obtain some fine water scenery at Wissota WP37 Dam. There's so much to do here at Lake Wissota that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Harbor Campsite is a nice site for that.
