While you're here at Lake Wissota you can take a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail; a golf course nearby is Timber Terrace Golf Course. During the summertime months here at Lake Wissota, high temperatures usually reach the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Wissota are in the 0's. This lake       is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Duncan Creek, and camping is available at Pine Harbor Campsite. Lake Wissota 5548 is a great lake in close proximity to Lake Wissota, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Wissota State Park is a magnificent place to camp. Lake Wissota gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest                  month. A quick journey to Paint Creek in close proximity to Lake Wissota is a nice idea, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. There's whitewater on Eau Claire River for all you thrill seekers; you can take a little spree to Wissota WP37 Dam if you're here at Lake Wissota. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Christie Mountain, and Glen Loch Motel is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. People from Eau Claire love to come to Lake Wissota, and dry warm beds await you at Park Inn Chippewa Falls. So much cool stuff to do here at Lake Wissota, too fine to be true. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Lake Wissota.
