The beauty of Lake Wausau is reason enough to stop by. You completely should go for Lake Wausau. Brooks and Ross Dam is lovely and it's next to Lake Wausau, and you'll meet a lot of people from Wausau here. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Wausau Country Club is a great way to kill some time; there's whitewater on Pine River for all you adrenaline junkies.

| | to spend a night or two, and camping at Rib Mountain State Park is always a great experience. At Lake Wausau during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Lake Wausau tend to be in the-10's. There are some good whitewater spots on Wisconsin River; Mosinee Hill is clearly visible from Lake Wausau. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Wausau-Rothschild, Wisconsin is a pleasant location
to get some rest; hey, Gotta ski right? Granite Peak is a pleasant site to do that. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Lake Wausau; September is when you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
