Spring Brook is right next door to Lake Three 1 and is always a delight to visit, and a great nearby hotel is Best Western Holiday House. This lake is so wonderful. You just have to love the Gogebic Range. A good place to camp here at Lake Three 1 is Chippewa River Campground, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Black Lake Trail. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place!       Lake Three 1 is excellent! A spree to Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is recommended; Lake Three 1 is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Day Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground. An average amount of rain falls at Lake Three 1; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. Near Lake Three 1 you discover the North Country Trail which is a great hiking trail; a beautiful lake like Lake Three is a perfect location                  to visit. Summertime highs at Lake Three 1 frequently tend to be in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Three 1 temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Ashland Super 8 Motel is a pleasant choice; do go to Gilbert Lake, it's a stunning lake. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. The Great Divide Snowmobile Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Lake Three 1, and in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brunsweiler River.
