If you are in Ashland county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Three 1. Ashland Super 8 Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the North Country Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Lake Three 1 you can take a hike along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail, and Apostle Islands National Lakeshore is one of the destinations that are good to pop by close by. Just can't get enough of the Gogebic Range.

Lake Three 1 is located in the Gogebic Range. For the period of the summertime at Lake Three 1 temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, usually in the 50's. Don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Spring Brook; not far from Lake Three 1 you'll hit upon Lake Three which is a picturesque lake. And if that's not enough there's lots
more cool things to do in the Gogebic Range. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Holiday House. There's so much to do here at Lake Three 1 that you need to camp here for a while, Day Lake Campground is a perfect location for that.
This lake is so wonderful.
All the outdoors fun things near Lake Three 1 will keep you coming back over and over. If you came to camp Chippewa River Campground is a glorious site to do that, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Black Lake Trail.
