Country-aire Campground is a great local campground. There's whitewater on Yellow River for all you adrenaline junkies; if you need a location to stay Clearwaters Hotel and Convention Center is a perfect choice. From a rainfall point of view Lake Dexter is a rather normal location; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month of the year is February. For the duration of the days of summer       here at Lake Dexter, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; night lows through the wintertime for Lake Dexter tend to be in the 0's.
