Lake Como is right by the Hickory Ridge Trail; as expected Como Creek is a pretty stream that is worth checking out. Hiking along the Deer Fly Trail is tremendous fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Glen Loch Motel is a wonderful choice, and do stop by Lake Como 48.25, it's a delightful lake. A normal amount of precipitation falls       here at Lake Como; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. What a location this is for outdoors people. Bloomer Memorial Golf Course is a tremendous golf course close by, and if you're stopping by from Eau Claire, you won't be the only one. Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center is a fine place to get some rest; Cedar Inn is a great campground nearby. Float down the rapids of Chippewa River in a kayak, and if                  you came for an overnight stay Birch Point Resort is a good place to camp. Not far from Lake Como you get some great water scenery at Bloomer Mill Dam, and the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail offers hiking at its best. Get drenched paddling on Duncan Creek, and Rock Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Through the summertime months highs here at Lake Como reach the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's.
