This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. If you're visiting Lake Como from Eau Claire, you won't be the only one, and you can go for a hike on the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. Through the days of summer here at Lake Como, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while       Lake Como nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. Lake Como gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Birch Point Resort is a magnificent campground here, and a round of golf at nearby Bloomer Memorial Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. If you come at the right time of year, Chippewa River offers some fine whitewater, and                  why not a little side journey to Como Creek. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duncan Creek, and magnificent hiking is available along the Hickory Ridge Trail. There are other spots here than Lake Como, for example Lake Como 48.25; dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Como is a tremendous spot to camp, Cedar Inn is a tremendous spot; after a long day outdoors Glen Loch Motel is a splendid spot to spend a night or two.
