There's just no way someone can get bored here at Lake Arbutus. Arnold Creek flows through this vicinity; whitewater paddling is tremendous on Black River. Lakes? Sure, Oxbow Pond is nearby, and you don’t have to go far from Lake Arbutus to see the water at Hatfield Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After       a long day outdoors Super 8 Black River Falls is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Get drenched paddling on Morrison Creek, and Lake Arbutus is a great location to visit for more than one day, Arbutus Campground East and West is a great location to camp nearby. Best Western Arrowhead Lodge & Suites is a great site to get some rest; Russell Park Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Silver Mound Trail;                  the vista of lovely Duck Hill is great. High temperatures at Lake Arbutus all through the months of summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 10's with temperatures at Lake Arbutus dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
