    What a nice lake Lake Allu is. Beaver Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn - Medford, Wi is a good choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Black Creek, and Monster Hall Campground is a tremendous local campground. The warmest time of the year at Lake Allu comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the  
   50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's with temperatures at Lake Allu dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like 0.1 Reservoir near Lake Allu is a good spot to pop by, and there's whitewater on Big Rib River for all you adrenaline junkies. 9 Reservoir is a tremendous lake close to Lake Allu, and a great close by hotel is Sleep Inn Abbotsford. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the
 
               fun stuff at Lake Allu.
The annual rainfall here at Lake Allu is about average; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February.

Detractors seemed to be a lack of enforcing the quiet hours. Parties with music blaring, singing and yelling went on until 3 a. M. Some noise was from the weedend campers next to us, and some noise was from the permanent site owners, which also included blowing on a plastic trumpet, not only during the day, but into the night. Dogs were left barking alone on the site next to us while the owners were at the bar or at the lake. No one was in the office in regular hours, making it impossible to replenish the ice in our coolers until the next day. Office was closed at six pm and was still not open at 10 the next. Person I talked to in the building said because of the economy he'd had to let a lot of the help go. Unfortunately, this is a big negative for us, since it made our stay somewhat uncomfortable, with the noise, lack of hot water, and not being able to get ice.
