If you are in this part of Wisconsin make sure to pay a visit to Lake Alice. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to Lake Alice, you might not ever want to go home again. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wisconsin River, and Kings Dam is a place that is close to Lake Alice. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn & Suites is a magnificent choice, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Merrill for sure.

Some buddies and I go up for a few days every winter and I have to say, this is the best you're going to find without doubling your driving time or hopping on an airplane.... i have lived and snowboarded in Colorado and Austria. For the Midwest only Lutsen in Minn. can be compared! The vertical keeps you challenged unlike the resorts in the U.P. and the rest of the Midwest! Only 3 hrs from Milwaukee!!! love it if you are in the Midwest and can't head WEST!!!... |
