LaRose Lake gets a typical amount of rain; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Duncan Creek is a great whitewater spot close to LaRose Lake, and do check out Flambeau River while you're here at LaRose Lake. At LaRose Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually       in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for LaRose Lake. Hiking along the Moonridge Trail is nice fun, and a wonderful close by hotel is Americinn Lodge Ladysmith. This site is excellent, just explore all the fun things to do near LaRose Lake. If you get bored of LaRose Lake, you could also stop at close by Jerome Lake, and if you need a site to stay Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful.                  A magnificent site for whitewater paddling near LaRose Lake is Chippewa River; the fine folks of Eau Claire like to hang out close by. The slopes of Christie Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Hay Meadow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. LaRose Lake is not the only spot nearby, Worden Lake is a nearby lake; a great place to camp here at LaRose Lake is Ward's Flambeau Resort.
