Krueger Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Buck Snort Resort and Campground Cabins Tavern is a splendid local campground, and Krueger Lake is not far at all from Merrill. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Tomahawk Super 8 Motel; you can       run the rapids of Wisconsin River. All through the summer at Krueger Lake highs are regularly in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Krueger Lake plunge into the-10's. The amount of precipitation that falls at Krueger Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with                  the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Center Fork New Wood River is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at; camping at Willow's End Resort is always a brilliant experience.
