If you are in Burnett county it's always a good idea to stop by Kreiner Lake. There are other places here than Kreiner Lake, for example Yellow Lake, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Lodge at Crooked Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. The Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Kreiner Lake; if you have the time, Saint Croix National Scenic River is a national park worth a visit.
