There's good hiking along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail; a perfect close by hotel is Days Inn of Antigo. Kohlhoff Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake       is so wonderful. Paddling on Wolf River is so much fun; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a perfect choice.
