You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Knight Lake. Council Grounds State Park is a tremendous campground here. From a precipitation point of view Knight Lake is a relatively typical place; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. The warmest time of the year at Knight Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration       of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Knight Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Merrill, Wi; you can stay the night at Birkensee Resort. You can run the rapids of Pine River near Knight Lake; people from Merrill love to come here. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Granite Peak, and there's whitewater                  on Prairie River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful.
