The beauty of Knab Lake is reason enough to stop by. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more enjoyable stuff to do in the Gogebic Range. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Knab Lake called the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail; camping at Knab Lake is great fun, Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is a great local campground. The yearly rainfall here at Knab Lake is about average; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here,

| | and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Whitecap Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a fine site to get some rest.

Some close by water includes Knab Creek; a striking lake like Dry Lake is a brilliant spot to take a
look at. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Knab Lake, and the night is a little colder of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Knab Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
