Kiss Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A common amount of rain falls here at Kiss Lake; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Timberline Resort and Campground is a great location to camp; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Peshtigo River. Thunder River. Medicine Brook is in close proximity to Kiss Lake and is always a bliss to go to, and after a long day outdoors Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a pleasant place to spend a night or two.

Lake Dam is not far at all from Kiss Lake, and a good nearby hotel is Best Western Crivitz Lodge. Curve Inn Resort is a pleasant campground here, and a golf course nearby is Desmidt's Golf Course & Country Club.
