This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western American Heritage Inn, and after a long day outdoors Americinn Shell Lake is a tremendous location to spend a night or two. Do stop at 2 Reservoir in close proximity to Kirby Lake, it's a lovely lake, and Kirby Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Rice Lake Haugen KOA is a nice local campground.       Boyer Creek flows through this region. There's so much to do here at Kirby Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rice Lake Koa Kampground is a good location for that. From a rain point of view Kirby Lake is a quite typical location; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most while February is commonly the driest month. Throughout the summertime months, highs generally are in the 80's at Kirby Lake while overnight                  lows are usually in the 50's.
