At Kinder Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Kinder Lake are in the-10's. Looking for something close to Kinder Lake? Bluegill Lake is around here; get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River. If you came for an overnight stay Big 6 RV       Resort and Campground is a nice location to camp; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Evelyn Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things right next door to Kinder Lake. Head up to Big Powderhorn Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; soar down the rapids of Turtle River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. The yearly rain here at Kinder Lake is about average; most of the rain falls throughout June while February is the month with                  the least amount of precipitation. The Newman Springs Ski Trail offers hiking at its best; a fine nearby hotel is Americinn - Ironwood, Mi. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course, and Wabasso Lake Campground is a tremendous campground here.
