Stay the night at Stevens Lake Campground, and the snow is magnificent at Ski Brule. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Killborn Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Killborn Lake has to offer, you can camp at Windsor Dam Campground, and get dripping wet paddling on Pine River. If you need a location to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a nice choice. Lakes are wonderful; Lilypad Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity

Onimish Lake is one of those close by; there are nice locations to discover along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Killborn Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Charlie Otto Spring;
going for a hike on the Lauterman Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Brule Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and close by you hit upon the Kimball Creek Trail which is a delightful hiking trail.
