Lakes are pleasant; Number One Lake is a lake that's near Kettle Lake. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Kettle Lake has it all. Here at Kettle Lake there are plenty of folks from Eau Claire; after a long day outdoors Glen Loch Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. Kettle Lake is a good spot of normal rain; the month of August is the wettest with       most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. All through the summertime months, highs generally are in the 80's at Kettle Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Kettle Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Duncan Creek offers some fine whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.                  Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chippewa River; camping at Rock Lake Resort and Campground is always a perfect experience. While you're here at Kettle Lake you can take a hike along the Deer Fly Trail, and striking scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Christie Mountain. You're almost certainly into lakes, Rat Lake is one of those close by, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Hickory Ridge Trail.
