Kelly Lake is a lake worth visiting. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River; going for a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Turtle River is a perfect whitewater spot close to Kelly Lake, and after a long day outdoors Bluffs Inn is a good place to spend a night or two.

This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here at Kelly Lake is Wabasso Lake Campground, and Indianhead Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest. Through the months of summer at Kelly Lake
highs are usually in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Kelly Lake temperatures sink to the-10's.
