A visit to Lake Keesus is always a good idea. During the summer highs here at Lake Keesus reach the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while Lake Keesus nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Merton Millpond 26, and Pine woods Campground is a great local campground.

| | Hotel is a great choice, and whitewater paddling is great on Pewaukee River. You could also check out Monches Millpond 38 since you're here at Lake Keesus; it's nearby, and at Lake Keesus you always meet someone from Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis. This lake is so wonderful. Timber Trail Camp Ground is a magnificent campground nearby, and after a long day outdoors Radisson Hotel Pewaukee is a glorious site to spend a night or two.

and paddling on Menomonee River is so much fun. Little Switzerland has perfect slopes and a friendly staff; enjoy a round of golf at Bristlecone Pines Golf Club.

Alpine Valley is a very good ski resort for being in Wisconsin, it's a bit more on the easy side of the spectrum so if you're an advanced skier you might get bored. But I love it, it's a great place for a relaxing day of skiing. I come here a lot with my family and we all like it.... |
